Terrarium met Spamton fairly early into Terri's time in the dark world. When they first met, Spamton got attached to Terri because they were genuinely kind to him (and also didn't have any issues with his awful "business practices"). After learning more of his backstory from Swatch and the Addisons, Terrarium started to care even more about him. Now, the two are best friends, and they're basically inseparable. Rozzie and Ted are best friends. They're both autistic and they're both partners with Bill, and the two of them together can turn any situation into a positive one. Good vibes all around.
Joanna is Rozzie's metamour, and the two are very close because of it. They tend to hang out a lot when their husband isn't around. Elizabeth (Ted's wife) and Rozzie have a lot of respect for one another, and the two are almost as close as Rozzie and Joanna.

Bonnie was the first (human) member of the team Lyan was introduced to, and the two became fast friends. Lyan has an immense amount of respect for Bonnie, and Bonnie gets a kick out of having someone to tease Michael about. It's a win-win.
Lyan and RC were also fast friends. RC, being the last member to join the team, clicked with semi-outsider Lyan. Despite not having many common interests, their personalities work nicely together.
Lyan initially struggled with the whole sentient automobile thing, and KITT wasn't too keen on having a new person tagging along with his best friend / work partner so frequently, so the two were at odds. After a bit, though, they were able to get past that and realised they get along fairly well. Nobody is immune to A.I. friend.
Lyan is somewhat neutral towards Devon, but appreciates him if for no other reason than he's Michael's father figure. Devon sees Lyan as a good influence, but also feels like he'll be a reason for Michael to avoid taking on Foundation assignments.°•◦•°• ◦•°•◦•°• ◦•°•◦•°• ◦•°•◦•°• ◦•°Jellicles

➤ Met in the spring / early summer after the end of Season 2➤ Lyan and Michael were parked beside each other at a drive-in theater one night in June of 1984

  • Watching Ghostbusters bc it had just come out

  • Lyan sees Michael talking to his car the whole time and is like “damn idk what this dude's deal is but I would like to. also he is pretty.”

  • They don't interact yet though

➤ They officially meet sometime in the next couple days while Michael is doing Foundation work

  • He ends up stopping by where Lyan is working (freelance copyediting) to try to get some info

  • Lyan is like “hey I recognize you. you're the guy from the drive-in!” and tries to start up a conversation

  • Michael initially tries to shrug him off, but he does remember catching a glimpse of Lyan that night

  • They start out friendly with a bit of the usual flirting (like a lot of canon interactions), but it doesn't turn in to much right off the bat

  • Lyan almost gets involved with the Foundation work without really realizing it, but Michael says it's safer for him to stay out of it

  • There’s definitely a “do you have a number I can reach you at if I need anything else?” “for work reasons or for personal reasons? ;)” interaction between them

  • Couples costume… MSND Puck (Lyan) and Nick (Michael). How Lyan convinced him, nobody knows. Lyan helps him with his makeup, though, and it’s kinda gay. Also there are so many MSND jokes made by pretty much everyone

  • Michael accidentally introduces Devon as his dad and then pretends he didn't. But everyone 100% knows he did. Family moments ♡

  • Bonnie and Lyan are very quick friends. True 80s mlm wlw solidarity ♡ (Lyan respects Bon so much bc she is so smart and pretty and she has wonderful energy. Bonnie likes Lyan bc he's friendly and she likes knowing that Michael has somebody to care about long-term)

  • There's a “kind of like mutual pining but they're both completely aware of it and tease each other about it” thing going on the whole time

➤ Michael and Lyan's first official date is to the newly opened Monterey Bay Aquarium after the events of KITT Vs KARR [S3E6]

  • Lyan finds out that Michael almost died on a mission (poison but fucked up)… he knows that Michael has been in serious danger before, but something about this time is really different for them both

  • Lyan is pretty clingy immediately after this episode. But also soft. He loves his boyfriend and is glad he's safe, but it makes him nervous to know that him getting seriously hurt is always a possibility

  • Michael feels even more attached to Lyan afterwards. He's not used to people caring so much about him, but it's a nice change. He feels like he has all the more reason to be careful now

➤ Lost Knight [S3E10] is an episode that exists

  • I like this episode as it is in canon but I feel like it would be one Lyan could actually fit into without much issue, so he's there now. That's literally the only change

➤ New Years happens in here (1985)

  • The Foundation probably holds a New Year's Eve masquerade party, so Michael and Lyan attend together

  • Midnight kiss obviously. These guys are arospec but they're still cliche romantics sometimes. It's fine

➤ Custom Made Killer [S3E12] is another episode that exists

  • I don't actually have anything to say about how this episode fits into the shipverse… I just wanted to say I really like Michael's hair in it. He is very pretty

  • MAYBE he and Lyan go blow some Foundation money on one nice outfit each… I’ve always been fond of the pink and grey outfit Michael gets at the end of this episode, so maybe they just go shopping together. Love that for them

➤ Junk Yard Dog [S3E14] happens completely unchanged, but there's some “offscreen” ship stuff… Lyan isn't a major part of the canon episode, though, bc I refuse to take away from that

  • Michael probably hangs out at Lyan's place when he's not trying to be as close to kitt as possible while he’s getting rebuilt. Lyan can be his comfort person. He needs it (Michael is dealing with his best friend basically dying on him AGAIN but way worse this time. not so epic gamer moments)

  • I like the antagonist in this episode a lot. Yesssss honey kick his ass!! He deserves it! We hate capitalists who knowingly damage communities and the environment and then burn all the legal documents that proved it! ♡♡♡

  • Also not ship related but Wow the end of this episode… Michael acknowledging his trauma aloud finally… much to think about

➤ Circus Knights [S3E22] is yet another episode that just kinda exists

  • Michael briefly wears a sequined cape / jumpsuit combo and I just wanted to call him out on it. Gayass (affectionate)

  • Lyan is introduced to RC shortly after he joins the team in the season premiere, and, like with Bonnie, they become super fast friends (they simply vibe with each other)

  • RC has good energy I like him a lot :] ♡

➤ Lyan adopts the dog from KITTnap [S4E3] and he and Michael dual-parent it

  • Kitt says he doesn't like dogs but canonically he called that stray his friend and wanted to protect him… the ending cap of that episode changes from kitt asking the girl-of-the-week to adopt the dog to him asking Lyan, and Lyan happily obliges

  • He’s a terrier mutt that Lyan decides to name Franklin. There is zero reason for this. Michael thinks it's a weird name for a dog but Lyan won't budge... “he just looks like a Franklin :)”

  • Franklin lives at Lyan’s house, but Michael spends a ton of time there anyway (as opposed to living full-time in FLAG Headquarters like he had been), so it’s fine

➤ Michael's birthday happens in here at some point!

  • They celebrate it during Many Happy Returns [S4E8] but the date isn't stated… Instead of celebrating his biological birthday as Michael Long or his legal birthday as Michael Knight, he celebrates the day he became Michael Knight… that says Something to me and I am Conflicted about it

  • But that doesn't matter bc Birthday! It's good and sweet. That's Michael's day and he gets to spend it with his people. I love that for him

➤ Knight Song [S4E11] stays basically unchanged from canon but Lyan is there now

  • This episode is fun bc I like the characters and the antagonist (fuck capitalism!!! literally throw stuff at landlords and developers who are running you out of your neighborhood to make room for industry!!! it is good and ok!!!)

  • Michael gets beat the fuck up in this episode… Lyan luckily wasn't around when it happened, but he'll try to take care of him afterwards

  • Lyan and RC have some good friend moments

  • Also the ending…. “I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be than right here with you”.... that ends up being directed at Lyan too (but gayly)

➤ The Scent Of Roses [S4E12] simply does not happen :)➤ Another New Year! (1986)➤ Out Of The Woods [S4E14] happens bc Michael and Lyan were on a trip to the redwoods

  • “Offscreen” forest vacation stuff. They are In Love and will spend time in a cabin together and will have picnics and campfires and Lyan will talk about botany and geography while Michael listens adoringly… it's just domestic and good

  • Also Franklin comes with. Gotta bring our pup

  • Also I like the antagonist in this episode a lot too. More “you are a corporation who is cheating the system and taking away from independent workers (and also literally actually trying to kill people)” stuff. I like it when my boyfriend is anti-establishment ♡

Hills Of Fire can also probably stay bc I like the setting of that one and I like a lot of the episode itself. Idk how to tie them to ship stuff though. I’m just not completely retconning them)

  • Super small private wedding (with JUST the FLAG team). Ceremony in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Reception at Monterey Bay Auarium.

  • They don't Legally get married bc “Michael didn't legally exist before 1982” reasons, but they get married in spirit and that's what counts. KITT makes them a Definitely Legal marriage certificate for whenever they're ready to go public.

➤ Also KR2K, TKR, and KR(2008) don’t happen bc I refuse to look at them.➤ Later down the line Michael ends up leaving the Foundation all together bc Devon wants to retire and Michael wants to live a domestic life with Lyan.

  • Michael gets really good lifetime benefits from the Foundation and gets to keep KITT with him, so Michael and Lyan just get to spend an incredibly chill life together

  • Terrarium is a lightner who lives in Hometown.

  • They started working for Asgore one summer, since their built-in grow light tail worked well on his flowers.

  • Eventually, they started to feel like family to one another, even though Terrarium is a fully grown adult. They kind of see Kris as a younger sibling, but they aren't super close.

  • At some point, Terri stumbled into the dark (specifically Cyber World). He was worried at first, but quickly came to realize he could come and go as he wanted.

  • He thought of Cyber World as a second home, and spent A LOT of time there. He even set up a small flower shop near the city.

  • Eventually, he met Spamton. The two became friends pretty quickly, since they found each other entertaining and actually got along well. Terri often carried him around on his shoulder/back, and Spamton served as a sort of "irl predictive text" whenever Terri went nonverbal or stumbled over his words too much.

  • As Terri learned more and more of Spamton's backstory, the two grew even closer. Now, they were essentially inseparable best friends.

  • Terrarium once went to Queen's castle to advertise his little shop, and there he discovered the Color Cafe.

  • Terri became a frequent patron, finding the atmosphere charming and the head butler (Swatch) even more so.

  • Swatch and Terri got acquainted with one another. Swatch was enamored by what they percieved as Terrarium's "cool outgoing troublemaker" energy (since Swatch themself can be a bit standoffish and backhanded), and eventually started to develop a crush on him.

  • Terri started flirting with them outright once he realized this, and he often came in just to see Swatch's reactions.

  • When the two started officially dating, they kept it on the down low. Or at least they attempted to. They weren't the best at it, and Spamton couldn't help but encourage word to spread even more quickly.

  • Swatch and Spamton had a weird relationship. Swatch is both annoyed by him and feels for him, since they remember him before things went south. Spamton, on the other hand, doesn't exactly remember Swatch, but seems somewhat drawn to them (almost having a sort of "obnoxious little bother" energy).

  • Terri and Swatch eventually became much more public with their relationship, and Terrarium now makes sure to visit the dark world as much as possible in order to visit his partner and best friend.

  • Once their relationship became public knowledge, Chiffon confessed that they always had a crush on Terri and felt guilty for flirting with him so much without realizing he was already "taken."

  • Terri was completely unaware he was being hit on at all, even though Chiffon frequently went to Terri' shop just to flirt.

  • Since Swatch found out Chiffon had a thing for Terri before Terri himself, and since Terri expressed some mutual feelings, they decide to set Terri and Chiffon up with one another, eventually turning the relationship into a triad. Swatch and Chiffon aren't dating each other, but they do get along well.

  • Chiffon and Spamton have an interesting relationship. Chiffon was the Addison who checked on him the day he was evicted from the mansion, so they did care a lot about him. However, they essentially dropped contact after that, and Terri is the only reason they were able to reconnect.
